New Year.New Status.New Life

Happy New Year Readers!

I know I've been away for too long and too long that I didn't even remember when did I last visited this blog =.=

Guess you guys must be wondering the reason to my hiatus and thinking that I might haven't given up blogging.

Well... to be honest, that's not the case.

Just as the title states, the truth is that Hubby and I have finally got married in last December officially and legally :D

Because we were keen on making our dream wedding came true thus we made ourselves involved a lot in the wedding preparations (and when I said a lot, it really meant a lot....!). Hence, we really did not have much time to do food hunting and blogging.

I wouldn't say it's a fully DIY wedding but it's indeed more than a Semi-DIY wedding. And because we don't like to follow the mainstream thus it actually took us more than 1.5 years' time to plan this wedding.

Many have asked us "Need to plan so much one meh?"

Of course need lar! Once in a lifetime okie!

For example, once we decided we would like to go for concept wedding we quickly decided on the theme we wanted which was "Old Shanghai Movie Theme". Moving on, to match the theme I hired a talented Indonesian artist who is very capable in paper art cutting. I then made used the digital version of the paper art to self design our wedding invitation card. Had my red evening gown/qi pao custom made overseas, flew all the way to KL to buy my wedding gown as well as getting my glittering bridal shoes there.

There were actually more but I'm just too lazy to mention all here. But one thing I must must mention here is the time and effort that my bridesmaids and groomsmen had actually spent on our wedding! My bridesmaids were so thoughtful that they actually researched and did all the handicrafts and tissues pom pom to decorate both our tea ceremony venues! They are truly my besties and both Hubby and I couldn't thank them more! It was actually them who made this wedding successful and without them, it would definitely be a total mess. We love them to the maxxxxxxx!

Alrighty! I'll try to blog about my Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching trips asap (but no promise ah!) so stay tune!!!

Hunnie Signing Off~
