And because the day when we went there was Easter day thus the menu was slightly different; so was the price. But we were still able to enjoy discount using the Country Club membership.
Anyway, back to food business.
There were lots of food varieties available ranging from appetizers, dim sum, main courses, desserts to even a special station dedicated to serve Hong Kong BBQ roasted meat!
I would say, this buffet would only be worth to people who are big eaters. As you can see that the choices of food available in this buffet were way too much so it was actually impossible to finish trying each of it and you might not have that much room in your tummy for it so you could be feeling sulky.... like me; lol!
Moving on~
If you guys have never been to Li Gong, don't worry, it's very easy to spot especially with the sign boards available within Empire Hotel. Li Gong has got really big area where other than the main unit (which is the main entrance to the restaurant), there are also 2 other units (if i'm not mistaken) which could be used for private function with many tables occupied in it. And for your information, there is actually an upper floor on the main unit where patrons can have their meals there but since it is quite an open area so there wouldn't be much privacy as compared to the other 2 sub units available.

This cutlery surely made me felt like I was in the ancient dynasty period

Chinese having Chinese tea in Chinese restaurant

SKY being KNS. He said he wanted to act pro a bit by reading newspapers while having brunch. Purposely went to buy the newspapers some more =.=
As you can see from above picture, Li Gong is really spacious and the arrangements of the food was nicely done. Porridge on the left side, desserts station in the middle, appetizers on the rights and so on. If you look carefully, you can actually notice a staircase which lead to the upper floor. And those umbrellas hanging upside down really made me wanted to sing out loud "Eh eh eh~ under my umbrella!" few times. But fortunately, I was able to control myself :P
The chef must had spent lotsa time on carving this lotus wasabi! But..... like that who would want to have it? It would totally spoil the hard effort of the chef lar~
This was actually an appetizer dish which was pretty similar to stirred fried sambal belacan brinjal but except that sambal belacan wasn't used in this dish
Cabbage; toppings for the porridge
Preserved chili in vinegar
Dim Sum station; okie so this is how it works here in Li Gong. Slightly different from Emperor's Court and Orchid Garden Hotel dim sum buffet. Li Gong's style is to have a dim sum trolley placed at one side in the restaurant which many different types of dim sum were placed on the trolley with its names provided. Therefore, patron was required to choose the type of dim sum and also the quantity of it and inform the waiter about it. After ordering, just wait for some while and the waiter would serve it to your table.
Some might think that this is not really a good system as one of the reasons why people choose to have buffet is that they didn't want to wait to be served but instead, have the food readily to be eaten. But I believe this can help to reduce food wastage and also, if these dim sum were to served readily, it could not be that hot and fresh anymore. Thus, it is better to order it and have it served later.

This be the fruits and desserts station and have you notice the golden eggs? :P

Chicken puff and many more choices available

This was actually called Mango Creepe

Assorted local kueh were also available on that day

Mango pudding; my favourite!!!
