This stall is actually run by my friend, Alister's family and I'm not paid to write this review (in other words, I'm reviewing it with sincerity).
Stall 40 is actually a stall which serves ABC (Ice Kacang) and Rojak. Recently, it has introduced new dish called Kolo Mee. Well, you can actually choose either you want 'Mee' or 'Mee Pok'.
Each plate costs only $2 which is quite a bargain.
Upon hearing this news and also good reviews by Jayden and Calvin, my fellow girlfriends and also Andrew decided to give it a go.
Everyone choosed to have Kolo Mee Pok except Ein who decided to have Kolo Mee. Other than noodles, we also ordered ABC from this stall.
Seriously speaking, the Kolo Mee Pok/Kolo Mee surprised everyone as it was way above average!
It tastes a lot better than other eateries which serve Kolo Mee and is addictive (we went back to the stall again next day haha).
The first time we had it, Carmen thought it was a little bit salty so during our second visit, we informed the staff about it and they accepted our advices. Very efficient.
And it's more hygiene as the staff would cover up the noodles when placing it on the tray and walked to our table.
Although the dining area is not that far away from the stall but there are birds, flies flying around the area sometimes (as it's open air) thus this act has made us felt really safe to dine.
Overall, it is worth trying (and no, we are not recommending it cause of our friendship with Alister). And Alister told me that they are still doing some improvements such as providing complimentary soup that comes with every order of noodles.
Thus, give it a try!
