The restaurant wasn't that easy to spot in my opinion and if not mistaken, it has two units of restaurant there which one is located on the ground floor and another is located on the 1st floor.
So 2 months later, my family decided to give it a try and we visited the outlet which is located on the ground floor.
The restaurant isn't that spacious and there weren't much customers when we visited it so still okie. But if the tables and seats were fully occupied it would be really 'squeezy' in my opinion.
Food wise, obviously enough, it's signature dish is Chicken Rice but with more choices such as steamed chicken, roasted chicken and there is this type which I'm unsure how they call it but it looks like '油鸡饭' [which is served in most Chinese restaurants that serve '烧味' (Siu Mei)]. Dad gave it a try and he didn't complain so I guess it was tasty? Fyi, my dad is kinda picky haha
I felt that the steamed chicken rice I ordered was kinda little and it costs $3.20 per plate which is sorta like current market price. I wouldn't say I enjoyed it a lot and I would still say Thien Thien and Rejoice serve better Hainanese Chicken Rice.
Mom ordered 'Wan Tan Hor' and I was surprised to find crab sticks in her plate. I mean, I have never seen any chef cooks 'Wan Tan Hor' with crab sticks and this gave me a very bad impression thinking that the restaurant is cheating money. I don't remember the price but I feel cheated lar and if you see the pic of 'Wan Tan Hor', it looks like there are more vegies than the crab sticks.
Other than these, we ordered a plate of 'Salted fish Beansprouts' which costs like $3.00-$3.50 and my mom said by looking at the portion and price, it's kinda cheaper compared to other restaurants.
I wouldn't say I would return to this restaurant very fast.. but if you're a person who likes to visit new eateries can give it a try.
