First stop when we arrived Miri was having breakfast at 2020 cafe.
It had been awhile since I last visited 2020 cafe and I remembered how it used to be my family's must-go restaurant whenever we visited it. Unsure why but probably cause of the lively atmosphere plus they weren't sure where else to have good breakfast haha
Anyway, this time I managed to try different types of dim sum which Brunei doesn't have.
It's pretty new to me and it looks appealing but some of it didn't taste as good as looks as the skin is a little thicker thus harder to chew. One of my favourite dim sum dish in 2020 is it's "Sin Chuk Kin". It's a slightly different version from Brunei's due to the sauce where 2020's version tasted a little sweeter (like char siew sauce) which I prefer. We also ordered "Xiao Long Bao" but we were disappointed.

Our breakfast on that day

Sorta like "Siew Mai" but the skin was made from wheat starch so it's similar to "Har Gao", just that different fillings.

Sorta like "Har Gao" (Prawn dumplings) but the skin color is green

Sin Chuk Kin, my favourite ^^

After shopping in Imperial and Bintang Plaza, we decided to rest our feet by sipping coffee in Starbucks.
After we left Bintang Plaza, we headed to Boulevard to continue our shopping and also had our lunch there. Hubby had economy rice from a chinese vendor which provides wide choices of dishes for economy rice but we thought it's slightly expensive. At the same time, we also ordered a plate of Combo set from Stall No.2 or was it No.3... but I'm sure that the name of that stall is "Salt and Pepper". The combo set we ordered included sausage, chicken chop, lamb chop and also fries, coleslaw and little portion of rice. It's worth trying in my opinion especially it's chicken chop. The meat is really tender and not dry at all which I really enjoyed it a lot.

The lamb chop was so thin that Hubby commented it's "lamb bak-kua" lol!
