-101-: Hi, thanks for dropping by! Yea, I used to visit the cake house quite frequently to get some cakes hehe love their durian cake~
Otaki: Yea, I've heard that they serve good Nasi Lemak and it's expensive. But, still many people go there for nasi lemak takeaways though. I've thought of wanting to try it out.. we can actually dine there right? Probably gonna drag some friends to go with me after exam ;)

Mamih Nasi Lemak, $1. Looks good right? hehe i think Mamih's Nasi Lemak is suitable for those who love nasi lemak but can't take too spicy sambal. I personally think their sambal is slightly too sweet for my liking but still yummy lar~

New Korean restaurant in town~

I have actually visited this restaurant three times already =D
Out of the three Korean restaurants in Brunei, I must say, this Korean restaurant has most items in their menu. Just the various types of grilling sets have already occupied few pages of the menu book. Oh yea, they also serve shabu-shabu and and~ their staffs are really friendly! and helpful too ^^

These pictures below were taken during my second visit to the restaurant with family.

Well, overall.. i give them 3 out of 5. Still have rooms for improvements.

Oh yea, their Kimchi Spring Roll is nice! I've also tried their fish fingers but i find nothing special lar.

SC ordered Camomile tea and I thought it was served with teapot but nah... a cup of hot water and this tea bag were given instead.

Gimbap. Average.

Photobucket
Korean Hot Chicken Wings. Nothing special as well.

Photobucket
Korean Spicy Rice Cake. It's not spicy actually and goes quite well with rice. As for the rice cake, it's kinda hard to chew but the sauce is tasty.

Photobucket
Kimchi Stew. Mom said the taste was kinda bland; it is spicy but other than that, nothing else.

Photobucket
Kimchi Chicken Fried Rice, not bad.

Few weeks ago, I finally had the chance to visit Seri Kandi Restaurant's new branch which is located in Kiulap (opposite to Excapade Restaurant).
Before visiting this restaurant, I've heard some comments from people that they serve good Nasi Briyani. So, i decided to try it out.
At first we didn't know how much is the portion so we ordered only 1 bowl of Nasi Briyani and it costs $6 per bowl.
When it arrived, Hubby and I were kinda surprised cause it was served in a claypot and the portion was really generous. We felt so lucky that we didn't order other food, otherwise we might not be able to finish it all!
The nasi briyani also came with side dishes like pickles and etc.
Overall, it was a good dining experience, the ambience and decorations of the restaurant are really good and comfy.

Alright~
So Hubby decided to let Baby SX underwent overhauled treatment and the mechanic suggested to change its engine.
So.... Baby SX is BRAINLESS now!
But don't worry, after searching for so long, we have finally located another suitable engine for Baby SX and he is getting a better brain soon! And I know 'someone' is really excited! (yea, Hubby, it's youuuuuuu~) Hahaha

Below are some brainless pictures of Baby SX. I guess some of you guys might have seen the pics below as I've posted it up on facebook quite awhile ago.

Charcoal BBQ & Grill - April's Set Meal

Hubby and I had a lunch gathering with Sin Yin and her bf on one Saturday.
Well, it was Sin Yin who suggested to go Charcoal for lunch and actually I had the same plan too.
I've been wanting to try out their Chicken Lasagna since I saw their advertisement on BB quite some time ago.
However, it wasn't as I expected. The lasagna was just average.
Hubby liked the Chicken Diane Set. He commented that the chicken was tender and tasted really good.
And the pizza was delicious too. As because it's beef ribs, therefore it's really meaty and filling too.
The overall dining experience was great lar ;)
