During the 1st week of Mulaut BBQ Grill was opened, Ein and I had a quick lunch there after class.
The restaurant was packed even though it was already 2pm in the afternoon. We had no choice but to sit in the non-air coned area. The weather was freaking hot and we only managed to grab sit near to the stove where its chef cook the food.
When I browsed its menu, I thought it was worth so I ordered one of its set meal but I was wrong. The drinks included was size S and the rice portion was less than average. So was the pickles (acar). Food wise, the sauce was really oily; you can actually tell from the pics below.
Overall, I would say that there are still lotsa rooms for improvement ;)

It's a bit late to address your experience at Mulaut BBQ Rimba. I just stumbled on your blog.
I am pleased that you specifically mentioned during the 1st week of opening..yes we had a lot of issues at that time. As you wrote, we were packed with customers, didnt expect that and being new we had little experience. We are wannabe home grown fast food franchise.
I am glad you suggested we could improve a lot.
And yes we did!!
Things have a improved a lot after that few weeks..when I browsed through the internet, most of the complaint was during the opening.
I am also very pleased that in your chatbox last few days somebody even mentioned whether anybody has gone to our latest outlet in Gadong (ex LA Donut, same row as Nazmi).
I suggest that you please, please give us a 2nd try. If you still not happy, please send me a mail on mulautbbq@hotmail.com or hotwati@hotmail.com. I will see what I can do to assist with any issues, which I am sure there wouldn't be any.

First of all, I'm sorry for the late reply and I would like to thank you for visiting my blog. And also providing feedback on the issues which I had raised when I visited your restaurant for the first time.
I'm glad to know that being a restauraneur, you're able to accept the comments or feedback provided by your customers even if its negative. And I'm pretty sure that Mulaut BBQ must have improved well.
Congrats on the opening of your new branch in Gadong and thank you for the invitation. I would definitely drop by your new branch one day ^^
