Review: I-lotus's sungkai buffet is back again. Just like previous years, they still have grilling station, cucur station and desserts station but it didn't look that appealing anymore this year. There were a lot of fritters to choose from; ranging from deep fried crab sticks to cucur pisang. As for the main courses, I must say.. there were several dishes served. BUT, out of these several dishes, there were 4 vegetables dishes. It seems like I-Lotus management wishes its customers to keep fit and eat healthy so they have more vegetables dishes in their menu *tsk tsk tsk*. We did not wait that long for the grilled food but it seems like they didn't wash the prawns clean as we could tasted 'sandy' feel in our mouth when eating the prawn meat. Lamb wasn't that welly cooked. Too bloody I would say. I did not see many choices of fruits too.
Overall, I would rate I-Lotus 6.8 out of 10. I think the management should really come up with something new next year. I've tried their sungkai buffet three years ago but not last year. Yet, I think it gave me the same feeling when I visited it three years ago.
p/s: It was cheaper 3 years ago and they served dim sum! But no more for this year =(
