Look-out for the big yellow DHL signage (near the entrance of Max Tyres & Rims or Meguiars) and turn in when you see the big Pepsi ad.

One sunny afternoon, I had mini marathon with Choon Ein, Sieng Yen, Andrew and Mak.
Initially, we girls planned to have a shopping marathon. However, since the guys were joining us so we thought it might be better for us girls to change the plan. Thus, we had a mini food marathon!
Our....
1st stop : Nur Wanita Restaurant, Kiarong
2nd stop : House of Curry, Berakas
3rd stop : Pondok Sari Wangi, Delima
Last stop : Country Patch Cafe, Kiulap
1st stop - Nur Wanita Restaurant
Location: It's located in Block C, Kiarong Complex. Right next to Mubarak book store. Don't worry, it's easy to spot it.
Food: Wide varieties of drinks and food to choose from; it'd really spoil your choice! From Northern Thai Cuisine to Southern Thai Cuisine as well as some Malaysian dishes. They even serve pasta dishes =) Oh, i kinda like their Thai Milk Kopi (but kinda sweet). We ordered the Fried rice and the portion was in a pity state. Too little i must say. I didn't taste nor smell much of pandan fragrance of the Pandan Chicken we ordered. We thought the chicken meat was kinda dry too. Curry noodles was delicious! With the taste of thick coconut milk and mild spiciness of curry, it went well with the crispy noodles. Thumbs up for that =) I'd definitely return to this restaurant and try out other food on their menu.
Service: When we just sat down, the waiter immediately brought over a 'stand' to our table and it was for us, the ladies to place our handbags. Really thoughtful!

2nd stop - House of Curry
Location: House of Curry, Berakas. It's located in the building between Soon Lee Megamart and Pertama Department Store. Same row with WyWy, KFC and Pet Vision.
Food: I've heard quite a few good reviews regarding this restaurant, especially their Roti Kosong but I've never visited it. It was even rated as the best roti kosong in Brunei by Thanis (Cookie Monster) and it really is! Although the price of the roti kosong might costs higher than other restaurants but I think it's fair as the size of the roti kosong is bigger. You can choose either you want it in full set (which is including the condiments) or just the roti kosong. We had chicken curry and lamb curry as the gravy to dip the roti kosong. Their lamb curry is fabolous!!! We also ordered Roti Telur and Roti Tisu which tasted delicious too! I highly recommend you guys to visit this restaurant (well, if you guys don't mind making the trip hehe)
Service: It was around 1pm when we visited the restaurant and the business was in brisk. Crowded with patrons yet the serving rate was still in normal rate =)

3rd stop - Pondok Sari Wangi
Location: It's located in Delima/Serusop. Same row as Mom's Bakery and La Mee Restaurant.
Food: Ekma and also JC had recommended us to try out the Nasi Ayam Penyet of this restaurant after finding out how much Food-Hungry Gang loves Nasi Ayam Penyet~ So... with the absence of Hubby, SKY and Hwa, Hunnie decided to try out their Nasi Ayam Penyet with other buddies. The chilli sambal of Nasi Ayam Penyet was hot but not as challenging as the chilli sambal of Gerai 3 in Tamu Selera. And also the portion was lesser when compared to Gerai 3 (in the matter of price too). As for the Nasi Ayam Bakar, I didn't quite like its sambal but Choon Ein loves it. Hmm.. seriously, I don't remember much about this restaurant.
Service: Bad attitude of the staffs. Due to that we were having food marathon and our aim is just to try out the signature dishes of the restaurants/cafes so we decided to order just a plate of Nasi Ayam Penyet and share among the 5 of us (some of us were already half full from the previous two visits). Other than that we also asked for 5 glasses of cold water.
And the waitress replied me "HUH???????" and stared at me with her BIG EYES after I asked for 5 glasses of cold water. I replied her "Yes", she then left our table to place the order in the kitchen. Later on, she spoke in her language to her fellow colleagues and it was really obvious that she was bad mouthing us (with her body language and eye contact). 5 of us immediately felt really upset and bad. SOOOOO, we asked for the menu again and ordered a plate of Nasi Ayam Bakar just to make us (& maybe them) slightly better. Might not return to this restaurant anymore due to the extreme bad service.

Last stop - Country Patch
Location: It's located in Kiulap, same row as Twelv Cafe.
Food: It's been awhile since my last visit to Country Patch and this time we've included it in our food marathon cause some of the team mates haven't visited it yet. We ordered the Grilled Chicken in Scotch Roll and also a chicken pie. As most of us were full already (Sieng Yen actually hoisted her white flag haha) so we didn't manage to order their Butter cake. Kinda miss it hehe would try out their hi-tea set next time =)
Service: Warm and friendly staffs. Loving the ambience ^^
