Various types of drinks available.

We love to order Burger Telur from this stall ^^

Patrons enjoying their food
While walking around, I noticed some patrons were having grilled sambal fish which just made me drooled.....! Without second thoughts, I suggested the guys that I wanna have it so we went to many stalls to survey for the prices. Finally, there was this waitress from this particular stall willing to reduce the price from $7 to $6... THANK YOU!

Fishies~~~

Grilling baby~
While waiting for the fish to be served, we went to grab other foods.

Roti Telur

Mee Goreng which SKY ordered

RAWR! (he looks fiercer than the dragon on his tee, scary!)

The Nasi Katok which I've mentioned above. Really yummy! We requested to have the sambal campur (spicy + biasa) and also the chicken is cooked in masak merah. $1 per plate~

Looks good right?! The sambal is kinda spicy but still tasty.

LCD TV in pasar malam! Even some restaurants n cafes also don't have~

A stall selling satay

Stall selling chicken wings

Another side of the pasar malam which we did not enter this area

SKY acting like Ultraman~

Hi! Is Tamu Selera near Hyatt Regency? Where do you stay in Kota?Any tips -- restaus to try? cheap but good food? places to visit? We'll soon be going to KK. :) Hope you can share! Thanks. :)
Hi Grace! First of all, thanks for visiting my website. For your information, Tamu Selera is located at Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam and not Kota Kinabalu.
To answer your second question, during my last trip in KK, I stayed at Marina Apartment which was pretty good if you're traveling with big group of friends. Otherwise you could choose to stay at the Warisan Boutec Hotel or Myne Hotel located at Warisan Square for location wise.
KK has got so much good food and most people go there for its seafood. However, it's usually very pricey if you have it in town area, or else you would have to travel approximately 45mins to the seafood restaurants at outskirt of town. I would recommend Salut Restaurant if you don't mind traveling far to get decent and cheap seafood. For other delicacies, you can just find the information under the tag "Travel".
Other than these, KK is always famous for its islands. So do spend a day or 2 to visit one or few islands!
Have fun!
