To celebrate the brand new year, Food-Hungry is presenting pictures of Project FM-2 which we had in mid of December 2008.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thanks everyone who participated in Project FM-2. I really hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did. And also SKY who helped a lot in giving me advices when I was having hard time handling the project, especially arranging transport.
Not to forget Mr. Hubby. When SKY asked him stuffs about Project FM-2, he replied, "Huh? I don't know anything ler!". You really did your part being a sleeping CEO.
Many have asked me when are we going to have FM-3? Well... not so soon I guess.. But I do have another plan... but no one seems interested >.< style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">1. Popular Restaurant, Seri
2. Ocean Quarry, Jalan Tutong
3. Spg 66, Kilanas
4. DQ, Bunut Hua Ho Mall
5. M.O.D Thai Restaurant, Jerudong
6. DAAN Forees Cafe, Kiulap
We did drop by Bunut Hua Ho Mall before heading to M.O.D Restaurant and some guys did bought some DQ Blizzards so I included it into the above list (although it wasn't on original plan haha).
1. Popular Restaurant, Seri - It was so crowded! People come and go but it's always full. Really need to snatch seats. Food was good but I thought the rice of nasi biryani was too soft. And one of the waitresses was not that friendly.

Chun Jing, measuring the gigantic dosai using his arm

Alister's expression after tasting the dippers of dosai

Nasi Biryani Kambing

Alister, Chee Yon and Vincent (who arrived late)

Siaw Ling and Qiu Jie
2. Ocean Quarry, Jalan Tutong - It's popularly known as the canteen that serves the best Kolo Mee by many people.
3. Spg 66, Kilanas - Revisited the Non-Halal Spg 66 Canteen. I could tell that several fellows of FM-2 crew were trying to save some space of their tummies for M.O.D restaurant. Therefore, only I ordered a plate of Wa Tan Hor.
4. DQ, Bunut Hua Ho Mall - the guys went to buy some blizzards from DQ.

Eating ice-cream pun sleepy looks haha

SKY trying out whether the ice-cream would fall or not.

Somewhere.... over the RAINBOW~

SKY being happy cause he broke his own record *wink wink*
5. M.O.D Thai Restaurant, Jerudong - The ambience was really great! It's definitely a good place to dine in especially for couple! I also learnt that M.O.D has both cafe and restaurant but there is no difference though. Customers are allowed to order food and drinks from both menus. M.O.D has more dishes on their menu and also steamboat. Set meal is unavailable though. The food was good! But not the pakis. Many people gave thumbs up to the Coconut curry seafood!

SKY really to fight.

I don't remember if this is complimentary or charged in the bill..

Esther~~~

Crew discussing what to order

A seat which we left for Chee Hwa. So sad that you didn't join us =(

Longan Drink

drink that Vincent ordered i think. don't know what is it but it looks like sabun =P

Alister, Siaw Ling and Qiu Jie

Qiu Jie and Chun Jing. Sweet Sweet!!!

Salad Prawns which Esther and Wei Wei ordered

Pandan Chicken. Although there were 9 pieces per plate but you will be surprised when you unwrapped the pandan leaves. The portion was unexpectedly small.

Highlight of the meal, Coconut Curry Seafood.

Stir Fried Pakis, not that yummy.

Thai Fish Cakes, average.

Tom Yam Soup, not bad.
Below are some decorations that I found in the restaurant.

A day after Project FM-2 was held was actually Hubby's lunar birthday so we decided to surprise him with a birthday cake!

6. DAAN Forees Cafe, Kiulap - Initially we planned to visit De Tymz but it was closed. So we headed to Country Patch. Unfortunately, it was full! So we walked around the area nearby and decided to try out DAAN Cafe. The interior of the cafe is quite modern and cozy too. Good place to hang out with friends.
