I had a good lunch with Choon Ein yesterday at CheezBox. We had the set meals and we ended up wasting food *i feel guilty :(* as the portions were too much and we couldn't finished it. Anyways, the players of Singapore Slingers were having their meals in CheezBox too. And omg! the players were really good looking *shy* and very very tall.
They are so tall that Choon Ein asked me this... "how are they going to use the toilet?"
Then i turned my head and saw how low the door is... lol.
Back to food topic. I've been wanting to try out their set meal for loooong time! As it looks so price-friendly.
I couldn't make up my mind on which set to order, all of them sound yummy. Then i thought maybe i should try out the Sambal chicken first then fish and prawn during my future visits. Choon Ein ordered Black Pepper Beef set.
When the food arrived, both of us were shocked. We didn't expect it to be that much. I didn't try Ein's Black Pepper Beef so i'm unsure about its taste. As for the Sambal Chicken, it is not as spicy as it sounds like. It just tasted like Sambal Kangkong and is kinda oily. Ein says that my Corn Soup tasted a lot better than her Tofu Miso Soup. She claims that it's salty.
Ahh i just found out that if you park your car in The Mall basement and happen to have your meal in CheezBox, you can get your parking fees rebated if you spend up to $30 in the restaurant.
