KTM Thai Seaood Restaurant

We planned to have lunch together with SKY but the three of us couldn't come up with any restaurants. Just when we were still in car driving around seeking for restaurant to have lunch (we rounded Gadong, Kiulap, Menglait, Batu Bersurat), SKY suggested Thai food.
And i agreed.

Not sure if you guys knew this, there are few popular Thai food restaurants along Jerudong and today I'm going to review KTM Thai Seafood Restaurant. According to SKY (he often hunt around the restaurants in Jerudong), KTM is considered a budget Thai restaurant as they provide many different types of set lunches/dinners with lowest prices.

The restaurant is located near to Jerudong mosque, and it can be easily found as it's located along the road side. The restaurant is big, in fact, the whole building belongs to KTM. From the information that I've collected (wow, i sound like secret agent~), the owner of KTM came from Thailand and has been working in Brunei for quite a long period so you can expect a real authentic Thai food in this restaurant.

We ordered the set lunch for 2-3 pax which is $14.90 per set. This includes soup, vegetable and meat. You can choose the dishes you want from the menu. We had Tom Yam Soup, Sambal Kangkung and Thai Mango Fish. I also ordered a plate of Prawn cake which costs $5 for 4 pieces.
The order came very fast. This maybe because there weren't many customers (we arrived there at about 1.30pm).

The food was great. Well, at least to me, a Thai food lover. The Tom Yam soup is not spicy which is suitable for people who dislike hot stuffs. But i personally think that, Thai's tom yam soup is a lot spicier than what Brunei's restaurant serves. This may be because some Bruneians can't take hot stuffs and therefore the restaurant has to reduce the spiciness. Days later after visiting KTM, only then i heard from friend that KTM's special fried chicken wings is a must try. Guess i already know what to order in my next visit haha
