Sushi Tei - Part 2

Sushi Tei, located right opposite to Pizza Hut in Gadong. Obviously, it's a Japanese restaurant and I blogged about Sushi Tei last year when we just started this blog and i gave them err average rank.

This year, during the CNY period, we paid another visit to Sushi Tei and this time we are really satisfied.

For those who don't know yet, currently Sushi Tei is running Set Lunch promotion at $9.90 per set and Set Dinner at $13.80 per set(if I'm not mistaken). Drinks not included though but u can always order warm or cold water if you wanna be more economic, like us hahaha

There are few choices of set lunch... Teriyaki Chicken Set Lunch, Tempura Set Lunch, Bread-crumbed Chicken Set Lunch and so on.

Me chose Teriyaki Chicken and Hubby chose Bread-crumbed Chicken.

I was really really starving so took a few plates of sushi from the conveyor belt. No much choices from the conveyor belt though.. and there weren't a lot too. All were either california maki or tamago nigiri or philadephia maki.

Finally our set lunches arrived and it really surprised us cause it's really A LOT.

Other than the 'main course' - Chicken, there were also appetizers like pickles, boiled green peas, tuna salad, gyoza, sushi rice, miso soup and fruits. Can you notice that the watermelon is cut into a Christmas tree shape?

When we made our payment, the cashier kindly asked whether did we already have their discount card and when we said no, she issued us one and it works like this, every time when u dine there you get 10% discount plus one stamp when you eat up to $30 per meal. Collect all 6 stamps and you can get a $30 voucher. Isn't it nice?

Second day, Hubby made another visit to Sushi Tei to order the Yee Sang and assorted sushi set for the family.

Can you see a lot of sashimi on top? This is really worth as it only cost us $13.80. The Yee Sang they serve is slightly different from the other restaurants as they do not serve those crispy peanuts and colourful vegetables but they put many slices of sashimi! which other restaurant do not serve so much sashimi and yet they charge at really high price per set.

The sushi set consisted of 7 different types of sushi and it cost $19.90 for this much.
