New Year's Coming!

It's end of Dec again and it means lotsa parties coming up, Christmas Countdown parties.. Christmas parties.. New Year Eve parties (though i heard it's not allowed in Brunei this year, too bad) 1st day of 2007 parties and of course birthday parties! Quite a few people i know are December born babies which includes my mom and The Hubby. Everyone is having holiday mood in December and it's also a month which cheers most peopl as they stand chance to get bonus haha.. With more bonus ler then we can have more money to buy food kekeke!

Okie lar.. Show you guys some pics of the parties i attended.

Christmas Eve Party @ Aunt's place

The caterer was from Kiarong Cafe and obviously enough it's located at Kirong.
There were 6 dishes and a pot of orange juice was included.
This menu costed at $6 per pax and on that night we ordered 30 pax.
The 6 dishes were :
1. Fried Rice 2. Fried Mee Suah 3. Blackpepper Lamb 4. Japanese Beancurd with Minced Chicken 5. Mango Fish 6. Satay Chicken

The food was alright but i found that the fried rice was too bland and the lamb was too little.. Otherwise it'd be perfect.

Aunt also ordered a big pot of toh-fu-fah from the KKL Enterprise and she paid $10 for that big pot. The moment when i saw it i was thinking to myself that i could never be able to finish eating it with my whole lifetime... -.-|||

And as usual there were gifts exchange event and also game for a break haha...
Wanna know more then read my xanga

The Hubby's 21st Birthday Party

Everybody's thumb was up after tasting this delicious Blueberry Cheese Cake from Mom's Bakery.
We ordered 2 pounds and it costed us $32.
If you're blueberry cake lover then you should go for this as there was lotsa blueberry hid under the cheese layer and the most bottom layer was a layer of cookie.
Too bad we didnt able to take pics of the nice food cause there were too many friends and others to be layan-ed and of course the glutton Hunnie always remember eat before taking pics..
Ok Ok i admit it's my fault XP

Lastly, I wish everyone a very....

HAPPY NEW YEAR
& May All Your Wishes Come True!!!

Steamboat at Home

About 2 weeks ago, Me and The Hubby suggested that maybe we should have steamboat at his place since his family members were not in and it might be a good chance for us to mess around with his home hahaha

We had erm.. sorta like pot-luck steamboat?
Hehehe Me and Miss A brought some ingredients for steamboat while The Hubby had bought the other ingredients including meats for BBQ-ing using the hot pan in that afternoon.
There were 5 of us, Me, The Hubby, Miss A, Miss P and Miss L.
The Hubby's fried rice was a BLAST!
It was so tasty that Miss P wanted to stay over his place hoping the second morning she would be waken by the fragrance of the fried rice hahahaha
The soup based was cooked with the chicken stock. Im not so sure whether it's from Maggi or Knorr as im not the one prepared it hehehehe
We were all so full...
We didnt finish up all the food.. there were leftovers..
Then we all sat down and watched the tv show which was so funny and interesting that we even forgot the time to go home haha..
We actually left The Hubby's place at 10.30pm that night and when i reached home it was already bout 11pm.
It was a great experience lar.. Maybe we should hold more gatherings like this often hahaha

De Royalle - 24hr Cafe

Espeed was so down down down for the past few days and it gave me a lot of inconvenience and bit troubles.
I have got so many things to blog but yet i couldnt.
During these time of lack updates on food, me and The Hubby were trying out some new restaurant which included the popular night spot for Brunei owls, Twelv.
I'll try my best to blog more in these few days before i leave for a small trip to Limbang next week so stay tune~

<3>

Miss A, Miss P and ME made a stupid decision on that sunny afternoon..
That is to walk down to Bandar from my place.
Some people might think my place (which is somewhere near Tasek) is so near to Bandar and it should be an easy task for us to reach there by walk.
We thought so too.
But Mr. SUN was like trying to punish us by making himself so bright and shinny and immediately after we reach Bandar, we made another decision again...
That is to find a car to drive us back home when we are done.
Hahahahaha!
We were so thirsty and Miss A made our uncle to treat us at the Brunei only 24hr cafe, De Royalle.
The cafe isnt that big.
It's easily spot and it just located right next to CoffeeBean.
But it has no toilet.
)=
I always wondering what the staffs do when they need to pee or poo..
My bro experienced this once and he had no choice (cause it was late night) and so he bear with it and walked home and splashed!
Drinks are about $5-6..
I ordered the Cabonara Spaghetti which was not that bad ^^
Me and Miss P love the cake a lot!
Im not sure what cake is it but definitely chocolate-related lar!
AWWW~ i wanna have it again!
The total spending of us was $47.30 for 4 drinks and 3 pastas.
The restaurant also provide erm... 'Shisha'.. is that what you all call it?
Hahaha
When we were there, there were 2 young looking teenagers trying it.. im wonderin if people will get addicted to it or not.. and how do peopl use it?
Miss A said she wanna try and i gave her a stop-joking-staring look.
Do they wash the equipment often?
Guess i gotta find more details bout this 'Shisha' to cure my curiousity.

Berangan Kolo Mee @ Glo Food Court

For those Chinese owls out there should be familiar with the popular Berangan Kolomee which the stall used to be operated at one of the Berangan flats and opened at night only. This is the good news to the Malays and also people who prefer to go out in daytime as the popular Berangan Kolomee had moved to Glo Foodcourt at Yayasan Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan and it serves Halal food.

*drools* the Berangan Kolomee

Not only the Kolomee is nice, the chicken feet is tasty as well. You wont regret after eating it i swear kekekeke! And the prices are fair. I dont think the stall has any signboards of the stall's name but just check out for the big white signboard which has the menu listed on if you wanna try out the food.

^^
